About
A school, not a magazine.
Dressing School started in 2021 as an Instagram page that explained one style rule per post. Today it's a 204,000-strong community of Indian men learning how to dress without being told they need a stylist.
Why we exist
Most men's style content is written for runways, not the metro. It assumes you live in New York, have ₹50K to drop on a coat, and don't sweat through July. We don't. So we built a school instead — short lessons, real budgets, Indian fabric and Indian weather.
What you'll find here
- Free guides — face shapes, capsule wardrobes, colour matching, dress codes.
- The Face Shape Finder — an on-device tool that maps your face and recommends the cuts, frames and collars that suit you. Nothing leaves your browser.
- Premium PDFs — the systems behind the lessons, in one downloadable book.
- Best picks — quarterly product roundups for Indian stores (Myntra, Ajio, Snitch, Amazon).
- Daily on Instagram — outfit ideas, grooming tips and product picks land on @dressingschool first. 204K men already in.
Who runs this
Dressing School is built and written by Naresh Basude — the creator behind the 204,000-follower @dressingschool Instagram, where this all started. After years of answering tens of thousands of DMs — almost all variations of "what should I wear" — the recurring questions became the guides, tools and picks you'll find here. We don't take products in exchange for reviews. We do earn small commissions when readers buy through our affiliate links — this never changes our recommendation. If a product isn't worth your money, it doesn't make the list.
