Monday outfit — navy polo, stone chinos, white sneakers

Monday

The Monday reset.

Smart casual · office return

  • Navy polo — well-fitted, breathable knit. ₹1,200–1,800.
  • Stone chinos — tapered, ankle-grazing. ₹1,500–2,500.
  • White leather sneakers — clean toe, no logos. ₹2,000–4,500.
  • Steel-band watch — 38–40mm dial.

Why it works: navy is calmer than black on a Monday morning. Polo signals "back to work" without the formality of a shirt.

Tuesday outfit — striped shirt, navy chinos, loafers

Tuesday

Stripes, done right.

Smart casual · meeting day

  • Bengal-stripe shirt — slim collar, untucked length.
  • Navy chinos — same cut as Monday, different colour.
  • Brown penny loafers — leather, broken-in.
  • Brown canvas belt — match to the loafers, not exactly.

Why it works: vertical stripes lengthen the torso, brown grounds the cool palette, loafers say "polished" without dress shoes.

Wednesday outfit — olive linen shirt, cream trousers

Wednesday

Mid-week, linen.

Smart casual · warm-weather

  • Olive linen shirt — half-tucked, sleeves rolled to mid-forearm.
  • Cream trousers — pleated, no belt.
  • Espadrilles or soft suede loafers.
  • Thin gold chain — 18–22 inches.

Why it works: linen lets you stay sharp in 35 °C heat. Olive + cream is forgiving on every Indian skin tone.

Thursday outfit — navy blazer, white shirt, charcoal trousers

Thursday

Client-meeting, no tie.

Formal · soft tailoring

  • Navy unstructured blazer — cotton/wool, patch pockets.
  • White shirt — spread collar, no monogram.
  • Charcoal trousers — same weight as the blazer.
  • Brown derbies — polished, not shiny.

Why it works: blazer over white shirt reads "competent" in any city. Skipping the tie keeps it modern and breathable.

Friday outfit — black tee, stone joggers, white sneakers

Friday

Friday off-duty.

Weekend lead-in · relaxed

  • Heavyweight black tee — 220 gsm or higher, holds shape.
  • Stone joggers — drawstring, tapered ankle.
  • Clean white sneakers — same pair from Monday, cleaned.
  • Canvas tote or backpack — for the laptop.

Why it works: monochrome neutrals look intentional, not lazy. The same sneakers anchor the week visually.

Saturday outfit — denim shirt, black jeans, Chelsea boots

Saturday

Saturday night out.

Weekend · evening

  • Mid-wash denim shirt — sleeves rolled, top button open.
  • Slim black jeans — no fade, no rips.
  • Black Chelsea boots — leather, side gusset.
  • Silver chain or signet ring — pick one, not both.

Why it works: denim-on-denim only works if the washes are clearly different. The black bottom anchors the look at night.

Sunday outfit — ivory kurta, churidar pyjama

Sunday

Sunday, festive.

Festive · home / temple

  • Ivory cotton kurta — knee-length, side slits.
  • Churidar pyjama — slim through the calf.
  • Tan jutti — leather, no embroidery for daytime.
  • Pocket square or silk scarf — only if you're going somewhere.

Why it works: ivory photographs well in every kind of light. Cotton breathes through a long lunch.
