There are two ways to make a red portrait, and it is worth being clear about which one this is. The obvious version puts the red in the light itself — red and orange lamps, a red rim tracing the jaw — so the colour lands on the skin and the whole subject is tinted. Here the red sits only on the backdrop, and the light falling on you is warm white.

The difference in the result is large. Coloured light gives you a stylised, almost graphic portrait where skin tone stops being real. A coloured backdrop under white light gives you a normal photograph of a person who happens to be standing in front of a red wall — which is what makes it read as a fashion campaign rather than a music video still.

That is also why your own negative prompt lists orange skin and washed-out red together. They are the two halves of the same mistake: red spilling forward onto the face, and the backdrop losing saturation as it does.

The three ways this goes wrong

Your skin goes orange. The commonest one by far. The model has moved the red from the backdrop into the light. Repeat the line saying the key light is warm white and the red belongs to the background only — do not try to fix it by asking for less red, which just washes the backdrop out and costs you the whole look.

The backdrop turns pink or muddy. This is the same failure from the other side: the key light is spilling onto the background and lifting it. Ask for the key to be narrow and directed at the face, and for the backdrop to stay deep and saturated with a soft vignette.
